New Charlie Faumuina video exemplifies everything that a Prop in rugby should be

Our love for Props has never wavered. When we see videos like this it only reinforces our belief that Props are one of the finest specimens to grace the earth. Charlie Faumuina is a massive prop for Toulouse and New Zealand and this supercut that dropped really exemplifies the skills that are needed to be a top player in this sport.

Faumuina in this makes big carries, big hits, and is technically strong at scrum time. What more could you really want from a prop?

In other news : Saracens to donate 50% of season tickets proceeds to school

Continuing its long-term commitment to improving society through the power of sport, Saracens have announced that for every new season ticket sold in July, the Club will donate 50% of the proceeds to Saracens High School where the funds will be used primarily for the provision of sports coaches, kit and equipment.

Saracens High School, located one mile from Allianz Park in North London, is the first free mainstream secondary school in the country to be opened by a professional sports club where high educational aspirations are underpinned by Saracens’ core values of hard work, discipline, honesty and humility.

Some of London’s most disadvantaged young people attend the school and experience the progressive education programmes that greatly increase the chances of academic fulfilment and personal development.

Saracens Chief Community Officer, Gordon Banks said: “According to Sport England findings*, over two million children and young people fall below the guidelines for exercise and physical activity. Leading an active life has a positive impact on a youngster’s mental and physical wellbeing giving them the best springboard to fulfil their personal potential.

“We want to help the pupils at Saracens High School to be the best they can be. By donating 50% of the proceeds from new season ticket sales, the school can further enhance its sports programmes and encourage more youngsters to take part in more regular physical activity.”

Headmaster of Saracens High School, Dr Matt Stevens said: “Our school places huge emphasis on providing enrichment opportunities for all our pupils helping them to develop their communication, leadership and organisational skills, as well as building resilience, confidence, and emotional intelligence. It’s great to know that supporters of Saracens are contributing to our programmes and enhancing the lives of future generations.”

The funds will also provide new opportunities for pupils to enjoy the arts and participate in school trips that will create vivid, lasting memories for years to come.
