Brian O’Driscoll makes thinly veiled digs at Scotland rugby players in bizarre Lions squad reaction

Ireland rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll has upset and disappointed many rugby fans this week as he made thinly veiled digs at Scotland rugby players in his Lions Squad announcement reaction.

The Ireland rugby star looked visibly annoyed as he was introduced onto the Off the Ball rugby show where they directly reacted to the Lions Squad selection.

A record number of eight Scotland rugby players were selected to play in the squad on Thursday, a record for the men in blue in the pro era.

Brian O’Driscoll didn’t seem all too pleased at all as players such as Ringrose and James Ryan missed out on spots for the Irish nation.

England prop Kyle Sinckler was also visibly upset as he gave a post-match interview this weekend. It shows the emotion on display with this Lions squad.

In the video, O’Driscoll could be heard saying that Lions ‘missed a trick in the centres’ making it very clear that he does not rate the skills of Harris.

Many fans were quick to notice a lot of things that he was going after a lot of Scotland players.

When BOD talks centers, *you listen*. His analysis on C Harris, Aki and Daly is spot on. Manu was head and shoulders above them, its a shame he had such a serious injury which takes months to recover from. Harris is so overrated, very average going forward.
