Eddie Jones acts completely differently from last week in Six Nations press conference

Eddie Jones appeared to act completely differently to how he has normally been in the build-up to England’s Six Nations clash with Scotland at Murrayfield.

The England head coach appeared to behave in a far different manner to the way that he has behaved in previous years.

The Australian was speaking to the press ahead of England’s match with Scotland at Murrayfield which will take place on Saturday.

It was interesting to see the demeanour of Eddie Jones, who is normally the first to play some sort of mind games in a Six nations press conference. In this case, however, it seemed like he was acting completely differently to how you would expect him to behave.

In this video, the 60-year-old appears to be much more subdued, with him taking a long time to reflect upon and then answer any questions that were put his way.

Eddie Jones may have backtracked on his approach to games after his comments about England bringing brutality to France seemingly spurred on their team to perform well.

Here is the video of the press conference, this was a much more subdued version of Eddie.

Facing a round two trip to Scotland on Saturday with their Guinness Six Nations title hopes now on the line after their round one defeat, Jones has changed three of his starting pack.

Mako Vunipola returns in place of Joe MarlerGeorge Kruis steps up for Charlie Ewels and Lewis Ludlam comes in for Courtney Lawes. Of the three omitted players, Lawes is the only one to make the bench.

In the backs, Willi Heinz has been promoted in place of Ben Youngs while Jonathan Joseph takes over from the injured Manu Tuilagi at outside centre.
