Eddie Jones left visibly stunned by England player’s brutal power at Jersey camp

England head coach Eddie Jones was left visibly stunned by the power of Bath prop Will Stuart during his squad’s training camp in Jersey recently.

In the first episode of season four of The Next Level, England fans were given a closer look at the team’s training camp with some behind the scenes footage. One small section of the video saw the forwards hitting pads, with Jones standing over with a watchful eye. One player in particular left the Australian shaking his head in disbelief, and that was Stuart.

The Bath tighthead smashed into what looked like his club teammate Charlie Ewels holding a pad with Jones mere feet away, who then turned to head of strength and conditioning Jon Clarke and said “he can hit!”

Take a look:

Stuart has been retained in Jones’ 28-man squad to take on Tonga this Saturday at Twickenham. Should he feature, Jones will hope that he brings some of that raw power to the match against what is a notoriously physical outfit.
