Everyone is talking about this incredible 50m score from English youngster Gabriel Ibitoye

Harlequins will undoubtedly be disappointed with their 53-21 loss to Clermont in the Champions Cup on Saturday night. But their fans will be extremely happy with this incredible ankle-snapping run from 21-year-old Gabriel Ibitoye.

The 21-year-old England is still fresh and he has some impressive stats so far this season for the London-based team. He has beaten the most defenders in the Gallagher Premiership this season. He has played for the England Under 20s more recently and we would be in no way shocked if he is a surprise inclusion in the England 2020 Six Nations squad if he keeps up this form.

La Rochelle had a nightmare in the Champions Cup today too…

Harlequins have struggled with a difficult start to their Gallagher Premiership season. This loss in the opening weekend of their European campaign has only compounded the pressure on head coach Paul Gustard.

In a post-match interview he said…

“Yeah not great all. First half we conceded three tries, the first one came from our own mistake ball in hand, we actually created a 3 v 1, unfortunately, we found the grass and not the man, cost us 7 points. Then the next one we lose the high ball and then lose another high ball and the same situation is applied, 7 points. Then we miss a 1 on 1 tackle for the final try.”

The men from London have Bath and Ulster in their pool as well, they both had a brilliant match at the Rec today where Ulster ran away narrow victors.

Here is the clip of the incredible run from Ibitoye, it reminds us of an incredible Christian Wade run a couple of years ago.

Look at the footwork and the speed!
