Footage of the semi-final of the Leinster Senior Cup in Dublin – the country’s premier schoolboy competition – conclusively shows that one of two late tries ‘scored’ by Belvedere College in the dying minutes of the game was not a try.
Footage shows the try which ignited an unlikely ‘Belvo’ comeback, which saw them come back from 19 – 3 down at one stage late in the secondhalf, was conclusively a knock on.
