It’s a foot race between the speedsters at the Hamilton Sevens.
Fiji’s Alosio Naduva takes on Wales’ Dane Blacker in a race to the line. Last year’s finalists Fiji and New Zealand both progressed out of their pools in impressive fashion scoring 113 and 125 points respectively. Fiji were too strong for Argentina, Australia and Wales and booked a Cup quarter-final meeting with Canada.
Hosts, the All Blacks Sevens, beat Japan and Canada before defeating Spain in the last match of the day to book their quarter-final with arch rivals Australia.
The current world series leaders USA lost HSBC Sevens Series player of the year, Perry Baker to a serious injury at the end of their first game. However with Carlin Isles in top form they beat Tonga, Samoa and England and will face Scotland.
