England have just released a stunning video detailing how they beat Australia

England has just released this incredible video on their social platforms detailing how they have beaten Australia. In an unprecedented all-access episode of Rising Sons, the team gave a detailed account of the tactics that were used to beat Australia in the World Cup quarter-final.

There’s so many things to talk about in this video so we will do our best to compartmentalise it.

We were treated to another of Eddie Jones’ master plans as it was revealed that he brought in Japanese players to train with the squad who had similar playing styles to the Australia squad.

This Japanese player Kenki was brought in as he has a similar playing style to Will Genia.

The sheer access that this England team has given at this World Cup has been astounding. We get to see so much of their training, their gameplans and their downtime. Other nations are so behind on this, even the All Blacks.

The next incredible thing we saw from this episode was the focus on Jonny May.

The backroom staff and players could not stop praising Jonny May on his dedication to training and the level of work that he puts in to make himself a better player.

Eddie Jones said this about Jonny May,

“In the 25-26 years I’ve coached I’ve never met a more professional player, you know to get 50 caps is a great achievement he’s come back from a serious knee injury. His contribution on Saturday will be enormous.”

The final part of the video which we found incredible was the behind the scenes stuff.

If you look at how they show England in squad meetings, in training, the one on one stuff. England fans are getting a glimpse into every side of this team and it’s paying off on making this team more approachable.

England take on New Zealand on Saturday to see which team will make it to a World Cup final.

New Zealand will go in as favourites but it could be a great game.

This is the depth of detail that England go into to get the win.

Look at how England brought in a player externally to copy the playing style of Will Genia…
