Mass brawl spills over into stands as Ealing Trailfinders stun Saracens with shock win
There were ugly scenes in this eagerly awaited friendly between Saracens and Ealing Trailfinders as a brawl broke out in the second half of the clash in West London.
The clash had been a surprisingly close-fought affair with the hosts maintaining the lead for much of the clash against the former Premiership champions.
Ealing went on to record a stunning 27-26 win that has shocked fans around the country.
Thousands of fans tuned into the Ealing Trailfinders live stream to watch one of the only games that was being played this weekend after virtually all rugby was cancelled this weekend due to Covid 19 outbreaks.
Ealing opened the scoring after a penalty in the opening minutes of the game. Saracens levelled things a few minutes later through the boot of WIll Hooley.
Ten minutes into the game Ealing extended their lead with a wonderfully taken try in the corner.
The clash was a close encounter for the rest of the afternoon with he sides exchanging scores. Ealing sealed the win in the last five minutes after an intense standoff on the on the Saracens line.
Tempers spilt over with this mass brawl breaking out into the stands as a frustrated Sarries side began to buckle.

that would be Ealing beating 2019 European Champions Saracens following on from beating current play off contenders Newcastle.
