This incredible missed red card was easily Gauzure’s most egregious refereeing failure
New footage has shown the shocking moment when another refereeing failure by French official Pascal Gauzere was recorded.
Wales defeated England comprehensively in the Guinness Six Nations this weekend, however, the size of the scoreline has been attributed by many to be the work of French rugby referee Pascal Gauzere as well.
Many were not happy at all with how the referee handled the game, with many conscientious decisions appearing to go the way of the men in red despite the reservations of many England rugby fans and pundits.
Just turned the game on. Pascal Gauzere is quite possibly one of the worst ‘elite’ referees I’ve ever seen.

It’s funny, growing up with Pascal Gauzere in the Vale of Glamorgan, I never expected him to go this far as a ref…

It cannot be overstated how bad Pascal Gauzere is, its shocking, how can a referee at the highest level make so many mistakes in every single game he is in charge of? Something has to be done

There was a moment at the end of the match which truly showed just how poor the refereeing performance had been from Gauzure. A failure really.
In the final few minutes of the match, Owen Farrell can be seen trucking the ball up the field as he looks to set up another attack for the men in white.
However, Welshman Justin Tipuric then tackles the Saracens player, lifting him over the horizontal in the challenge.
Could this be classed as a spear tackle?
