They’re calling it the softest red card in history and it’ll make you shout ‘**** off’ at your screen
This is a disgrace.
Sunwolves lock Ed Quirk basically getting red carded for a rubbing a Queensland Reds player’s face with his fist. That’s not hyperbole. That’s literally what’s happened.
Brad Thorn noted after the game: “I suspect I sound like an old guy that’s going, ‘back in the day, blah blah blah’, but seriously, that’s not good for footy. I’m sitting there, I’m the opposite coach and straight away, I’m up there just going, that’s no good. It just hurts the game.” We agree Brad, we agree.
If this a red than rugby is in big trouble.
