Are you still stuck in the era of your Twitter name… 1892? You you know women come in more than 1 shape than the black and white poster girl right? pic.twitter.com/ib2rjX3K5n

Here is the post from Alice Lockwood calling out some of the worst offenders on the social media platform.
To those who left these comments, I hope the women in your life, athletes or not, feel loved and valued. I hope your daughters, girlfriends, wives and mothers are not made to feel less than you. This is more than rugby, this is everyday. The fight is far from over. pic.twitter.com/yE2OAj4fq6

Here was some more reaction to Alice’s tweet was has gone viral online in recent days.
Completely agree with this tweet but men just think it’s one big joke don’t they.. It’s not the point at all but England’s women’s rugby union team are actually class if you bothered watching and no I’m not ramming women’s sport down anyone’s throat 🙄 https://t.co/xN8g1kQjEd

In this day and age, comments like these are ignorant and ridiculous. Some of the most entertaining rugby I watch is played by women, and some of the toughest competitors too. https://t.co/3rSmnqdQUf
