Joe Marler puts 20-year-old England teammate in his place

There was plenty of talk recently around 20-year-old England winger Henry Arundell and his prowess at the squat rack.

While on camp with England ahead of the World Cup, the soon to be Racing 92 star revealed he is capable of squatting 220kg, which is not too shabby for a 98kg 20-year-old. But there are levels to this squatting game, and Arundell’s England teammate Joe Marler recently showed he is a level above.

As impressive as Arundell’s squatting stats are, Marler blew that out of the water recently, by repping 10kg more than the winger’s max. Most people would probably expect a 120kg prop to squat more than a winger, but Arundell is no ordinary winger. This latest video shared by England only leaves most fans questioning how much the Quins loosehead can actually squat.

Take a look at the players squatting:

While both Arundell and Marler may have sore legs at the moment, they have both been included in the latest England squad that will train this week.
