Naked man can’t stop North Otago kicker nailing touchline conversion

North Otago’s Ben McCarthy deserves a medal for having superhuman levels of concentration after managing to slot a touchline conversion on Saturday, all while a naked man ran in front of him.

The streaker ran right in front of his line of vision as he took the final kick of the match, but that did not stop him sending the ball through the sticks. In all fairness, if there was ever a moment for a naked man to run in front of you while taking a kick, it might as well be in the final minute of the match when you are leading 87-23 against Horowhenua Kapiti in the Bunnings Heartland Meads Cup.

Take a look at the kick:

Here is a breakdown of the match on Provincial Rugby’s website:

North Otago 89 (Inoke Naufahu 2, Kelepi Funaki, Setarika Koroitamana, Ratu Logavatu, Ben McCarthy, Paea Fifita, Levi Emery, Matthew Vocea, Mataitini Feke 2, Mone Samate, Junior Fakatoufifita  tries; McCarthy 12 con) Horowhenua Kapiti 23 (Trevor Owens, Jack Tatu-Robinson tries, Tatu-Robinson 2 con, 3 pen). HT: 33-16
