WORLD XV: Northern Hemisphere dominate in team not everyone would expect to see

It’s that time of year again, when fans and pundits alike look to fill the void of time between the Autumn Internationals and the Six Nations. A World XV appears to be in order in January and here is the team picked by Raw Rugby.

Many of the choices are clearly warranted, with players such as Maro Itoje and Kieran Read obvious shoe-ins for their respective positions.

However this team does go to show the strides that Northern Hemisphere teams have made in the last two years and the numbers do the talking.

Obviously many fans will be shocked at the glaring omissions of Whitelock, Rettalick or Cane, however it would be difficult to argue with the picks that have been made here.
