‘It’s going to be a massacre’ – fan rivalry hits fever pitch in lead up to Wales vs England
This weekend it’s the big one. Wales vs England in what is one of the most eagerly anticipated fixtures in the rugby calender.
Saturday’s game will be held at Parc y Scarlets in a meeting that will be a world away from the controversy-filled frenzy that we saw in the Six Nations back in March.
Fans have already been locking horns on social media with the hosts desperately needing a result after a wretched run of form which has some already calling for Wayne Pivac’s head.

Fans have thus far given the Welsh head coach, Wayne Pivac, a damning assessment of his tenure as head of the national side after a torrid losing run followed by a laboured win over Georgia at Parc y Scarlets.
England, in stark comparison, are topping their Group in the Autumn Nations Cup after dominant wins over Goergia and Ireland.
Eddie Jones revealed his side to face Wales tomorrow with some saying that it looked like one of the strongest looking sides that England has ever put out.

England made one change from their side that pulverised Ireland at Twickenham last week. The media have heaped praise on the World Cup runners up in the week. Matt Dawson went so far as to say that England were the new All Blacks…
Supporters on social media have had their say on the team’s chances going into Saturday’s crunch clash with few giving the hosts any real chance of springing an upset over their oldest rivals.
Wales fans have gone in on some of Pivac’s selections ahead of their Autumn Nations clash.
Honestly what does Pivac see in Elias? He’s young I get that but right now he isn’t up for international rugby, our set piece was much better last week with Dee throwing and Parry coming on? Sheedy and Wainwright should be starting! Not confident at all if I’m honest

This is going to be an absolute pasting.

Our defence is fucking shocking though so I’m expecting to get battered tbh

England fans, however, were buoyant after seeing the side that Eddie Jones had put out to face Wales. On the bench alone we see the likes of Ellis Genge, Jonny Hill, Ben Earl and Anthony Watson.
That could almost be a lions bench or even starters bar maybe a couple of players, which shows that England’s depth would at present need a deep sea submersible to hit bottom.
