Absolutely mind boggling offload creates wonder try in the corner

The year is still relatively young, but the best try of 2022 in either code may have already been scored after the weekend’s action in the NRL.

The moment came in the closing stages of a match between the Parramatta Eels and the St. George Illawarra Dragons, and it has a number of epic moments along the way. First, halfback Mitch Moses put Nathan Brown through a half gap near the line, who was able to flick away a one-handed pass while going to ground. The real moment of magic was just about to come though.

Bryce Cartwright caught the pass from Brown with his left hand while jumping in the air, but was able to switch hands and offload the ball with his right hand to Moses, who had looped round. This was an incredible piece of skill, made all the more impressive by the fact that he was at full tilt and still in mid air. After that, Moses went on to dot the ball down in the corner in impressive fashion, completing one of the most skilful tries of the year.
