Austin Healey breaks the Internet with truly outrageous Six Nations prediction
Former Six Nations winner and pundit Austin Healey has put his neck on the line with a bold prediction ahead of the Calcutta Cup in the opening round of the 2022 Six Nations today.
While he did not actually give a prediction on the Scotland versus England match at Murrayfield today, the Leicester Tigers legend did say that if Eddie Jones’ men win in Edinburgh, they go on to win the Championship.
That is an incredibly bold call given the immense class of their opponents this year. Both France and Ireland go into the tournament having beaten the All Blacks in the autumn, and while England face the Irish at Twickenham, they take on Les Bleus at the Stade de France.
This is an extraordinarily bold call, but it is always good to see someone put their neck on the line.
First morning of six nations always a special time if England win today we win the tournament. Simples
