Mack Hansen now officially has the strangest tattoo in Test rugby
Mack Hansen might well have found the perfect way to ensure he gets picked for the World Cup by bizarrely opting to get Ireland head coach Andy Farrell tattooed on his leg.
The Australian-born Ireland winger revealed his latest body art this week, with Farrell’s head now emblazoned on his thigh. This was the result of a promise he made during the Six Nations that he would get a picture of the coach tattooed on himself should Ireland win a Grand Slam. Well he is a man of his word.
Perhaps, most bizarrely, is the fact that he chose to get the tattoo on an area that everyone will be able to see. After making Farrell’s initial 42-man World Cup squad, his new artwork will be there for everyone to see when Ireland play Italy, England and Samoa before the World Cup, and indeed during it.
