Marcus Smith single-handedly guides England to massive win over Wales

When Mathieu Raynal is refereeing, anything can happen in the final minute of the match (as the All Blacks and the Wallabies will attest)- so Steve Borthwick knew it was crucial to manage the 80th minute wisely.

With England leading 20-10 in the final minute of the match at the Principality Stadium in the Six Nations round three clash between Wales and England, the match had entered ‘ridiculous decision from Raynal’ time.

So with 14 seconds left of the match, Smith entered the fray in place for Owen Farrell to guide England home, and it worked perfectly. Smith brilliantly guided England through Raynal time to bring them their second win in a row.
