Wallabies wing reveals bizarre hidden talent

No one knows how, no one knows why, but Wallabies wing Andrew Kellaway showed to his teammates, and the rest of the world, this past week that he is an accomplished bagpiper. Yes, that is right.

A video was shared by the Wallabies on Saturday, the day of their Test against Scotland, which showed the 27-year-old performing Happy Birthday in the streets of Edinburgh for his teammate Michael Hooper, as well as a rendition of John Farnham’s ‘You’re the Voice’.

Take a look:

Kellaway went on to start against Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday evening, as the Wallabies came away with a nail-biting 16-15 win. The match came down to a last gasp penalty for Scotland, which fly-half Blair Kinghorn missed.

On the penalty at the end of the match, Wallabies coach Dave Rennie said: “There was a hell of a lot of noise in the crowd, I thought it was over.

“There must have been a lot of Aussies or a lot of drunk Scotsmen in the stands.

“We’re happy to hang on. I’m proud of the effort, because at 15-6 we gave up a soft one straight after half-time, but we fought our way in and got our nose in front.

“We can be a lot better. But there’s been a lot of hard work from a lot of people and it was nice to get a result for the group.”
