Johnny Sexton has hit a rut of the like he has not experienced before in his illustrious career.

The World Player of the Year was flying high going into the Six Nations, he was pulling the strings with a dominant Leinster team and his last outing for Ireland had been a victory over the All Blacks.

However, things have unravelled out of control in 2019, which was capped off by one of his worst performances in a green jersey at the Principality Stadium as Wales walked over the former champions.

However, the fly-half may have paid the biggest price for his poor form, as a coffee shop, presumably in Ireland, has rescinded his free coffee. The news was broken by his Leinster teammate Fergus McFadden on Instagram, who wrote that Sexton “has to buy his coffee for once”.
