Pitch invader getting decked with ‘flawless’ tackle technique goes viral

If any players want any tips on how to execute a brutal tackle with perfectly legal technique, maybe one of New Zealand Warriors’ stewards could help.

A video has gone viral this week of a steward at the Warriors’ recent match against the West Tigers at Mt Smart Stadium in the NRL flattening a pitch invader and the tackle was worth watching.

Any professional player would be proud of a hit like this, as the steward lined up the invader and sunk his left shoulder into their chest to send them flying. With arms wrapped and at a legal height, former Wales captain even commended the hit on Twitter, writing “Genuinely – absolutely flawless tackle tech on pitch invader.”

To make matters worse for the invader, they were unceremoniously bundled on by the other stewards as the crowd cheered the hit. Any aspiring players, or indeed stewards, should take a look at this monster hit.
