Sexton’s impeccable 50:22 proves he’s still top dog at flyhalf
Did you see this 50:22 from J10 – AKA Johnny Sexton – yesterday? This is how you kick 50:22s.
This was exquisite and a perfect use of the relatively new Law, which we must say has been a great addition to the game of rugby union since it was introduced last year. It was last year right?
Anyway, Marcus Smith could certainly learn a thing or two from him. It’s all very well running fast, beating defenders and passing and whatnot, but a flyhalf will ultimately always be judged by how he boots a ball.
With Owen Farrell now sidelined, Sexton is clearly the best 10 in the world.
