Springbok fans disrespect Haka in Nelspruit

We always thought that the Springboks were loud but fair with opposition teams, but they crossed the line in Nelspruit today.

When the brave All Blacks did their Haka they were hit by a wall of noise, which we interrupt as jeering.

Sad that they couldn’t respect this fine New Zealand tradition. All you could hear were chants of Ole Ole Ole instead of the mighty Haka.

Rugby is of course – all about respect and the spirit of rugby or whatever. This is not what we think about when we think of respect.

Springbok record against New Zealand:

Played 101; Won 37; Lost 60; Drawn 4; Points for: 1625; Points against: 2098, Tries scored 156; Tries conceded 229; Highest score 46-40 in Johannesburg (2000); Biggest win 17-0 in Durban, 1928. Win % 36%.
