Tackler brutally discarded by uncapped Fijian winger

Sometimes it is just someone’s day on a rugby pitch, and Saturday was one of those days for Yokohama Canon Eagles winger Inoke Burua.

Up against the Black Rams Tokyo in Japan Rugby League One, the Fijian winger looked unstoppable at times. Not only did he score his side’s first try in a 34-13 win, but he put in some crucial tackles and had one particular carry where he more or less threw opposite man Netani Vakayalia into the stands in an act of brute strength. He may only be 95 kg, but he packs a punch.

Take a look at some of his highlights:

The Canon Eagles’ win leaves them in fourth place in the league, while the Black Rams sit in tenth, two places above bottom place. The Canon Eagles host Toshiba Brave Lupus Tokyo this Saturday, while the Black Rams face second place Tokyo Sungoliath at home later that day.
