VIDEO: Nigel Owens howler – this was NEVER a red

There was a massively controversial call in Cardiff tonight, when veteran Tao Filise was shown red after he made contact with the head of a Glasgow player.

The second man in, the Glasgow player changes direction from the impact of the first tackle and Filise’s contact with the head look pretty freakish.

Surely this called for some sympathetic reffing from Owens?

By comparison, this incident didn’t even warrant a penalty last weekend.
