Viral Leicester Tigers fan is hilariously given chance to redeem himself
A Leicester Tigers fan became an Internet sensation last month for the wrong reasons during the Tigers’ win over ASM Clermont Auvergne in the Heineken Champions Cup last 16 match at Welford Road.
The fan, whose name is Rob, was caught on camera last month with a pint in hand and the opportunity to neck it. However, things went pear shaped very quickly, with a tap on his back causing him to spill his drink and completely fluff the necking of the pint.
Take a look:

The video went viral, so Leicester kindly offered Rob the chance to redeem himself in the quarter final of the Champions Cup against Leinster on Saturday. This time he delivered.
Just feet away from Chris Ashton when the winger went over for his try in second half, the camera panned over to Rob, where he proceeded to sink his pint before lifting the glass aloft.
Leicester wrote on Twitter: “Everyone deserves a second chance!
“So, after embarrassing himself at our last European home game on television , we gave Leicester Tigers Fan Rob a chance to redeem himself at Saturday’s showdown with Leinster alongside fellow drink-spiller and Leicester supporter Sam…”

Elsewhere, it was not a good day for Leicester against the Irish outfit, as they fell 23-14. Steve Borthwick’s side trailed 20-0 at half time, so they can be commended for clawing back the result slightly.
