X-rated post-match interview goes massively viral
After his side narrowly lost to South Africa under-18 last Saturday 44-41, England under-18 captain Henry Pollock attempted to break the world record for the most swear words said on camera in a 50 second interview, and just like England, he made a very good stab at it.
In what was the end of England’s three match summer tour of South Africa, England came agonisingly close to beating the hosts at Paarl Gymnasium after falling 40-24 to the same side a week before (and beating South Africa u-18 ‘A’ in their second match of the series). Emotions were clearly running high after such an epic match, which maybe explains the Northampton Saints back row’s fairly liberal sprinkling of explicit language in his post-match interview. Some media training might be on the agenda in the year to come.
