Quite possibly the most French try of the year was scored over the weekend

The French second division is an absolute mad one, and tries that are ridiculous are scored on a regular basis.

This example was no different and we saw a brilliant example of a mad try being scored today by the teams involved. Today we just had to share this try with you as it brilliantly portrays just how ridiculous French tries can be when they go full jouer.

This was a clear example of what rugby is like in France when defence goes entirely out the window and they use their brilliant offloading.

There is simply no reasoning as to why you only see tries like this in French rugby, but it’s truly the case.

The French 7s team has been killing it this year…

The PRO D2 is the 2nd division in France and it has become known for having some of the craziest and wildest moments in it, including fights, brawls and bizarre tries.

Only last weekend we saw a crazy score where a fly-half pretended to use a kick at goal to assist a try.

Seriously, it’s mad. If you haven’t seen it yet watch it here.

In terms of this match, this try was simply fantastic. The attacking team have an attacking lineout on the oppositions 5 metres line and they mess it up, and then this happens.

We’re not sure if this is bad defence, brilliant attack or a combination of both.

All we know is that if you’re ever looking for entertainment next weekend in rugby and you’re dying for some mad tries then tune into the PRO D2 in the French league. The tries are actually ridiculous sometimes and the quality of rugby is really high.

Here is the try that the team scored from behind their own try line, pure jouer rugby and we can’t get enough of it!

Only in French rugby would you see this, and maybe in Fiji…
