Saracens accidentally reveal latest devious plan
Argentina international Lucio Cinti was the latest former London Irish player to be picked up today, with Gallagher Premiership champions Saracens signing the 23-year-old ahead of next season.
The 11-cap Puma will fill the hole left by Max Malins in Sarries’ back three, while also providing options in the midfield.
The Olympic Sevens bronze medalist is a well balanced runner, and at 6ft 3in packs a punch in contact, and while he will be a great asset to the English champions next season, he has already come to their assistance before. In Saracens’ visit to the Brentford Community Stadium earlier in the season, the Argentine came as close to scoring an own-try as possible as he painfully struggled to gather a loose ball just in front of his line. Fortunately for him, the Exiles still won the match.
Saracens must have been so impressed with him helping them that they decided to actually give him a contract, or alternatively he has always been a Saracens secret agent trying to help out his employers any way he can.
Upon signing, Cinti said: “I’m very happy to join the club and am looking forward to being a part of it!”
Director of rugby Mark McCall added: “Lucio is a young player with enormous potential who will bring both X Factor and versatility to our back-line. We are excited to welcome him to the club.”

Cinti has become the third player from London Irish to make the move across London to Saracens since they were suspended, joining prop Ollie Hoskins and fullback Tom Parton, although the signing of Parton was confirmed months ago.
