South Africa may have very well found a terrifying replacement for Duane Vermeulen
Jasper Wiese may very well be a replacement for South Africa star Duane Vermeulen after his terrifying performance for Leicester this weekend.
The 25-year-old South African who plays his rugby for Leicester Tigers in England had a brilliant performance for the men in red, green and white on the weekend.
He made fourteen tackles and made some brutal clean breaks which will undoubtedly have raised the attention of many of the top coaches in the Springbok set up.
Shaun Adendorff, Ruan Ackermann, Dan du Preez and Jasper Wiese all absolutely superb in the Premiership this weekend. Saffa No.8s tearing it up!

Mercer among them… Do like watching Jasper Wiese. He’s an animal, and not a cute one. Wouldn’t want him on my lap in front of the fire.

He made a fantastic break early in the game, and his power on the ball makes him an ideal candidate to replace Duane Vermeulen
Could he be considered as a genuine contender?
