WATCH: Incredible scenes as La Rochelle return home in early hours of morning
Just like the La Rochelle fans were there to send off the players on their way to the Heineken Champions Cup final on Thursday, there were there to welcome them back on Saturday after they had defeated Leinster for the second year running.
This time, however, it was 4 o’clock in the morning. Nevertheless, the fans were out in force at the airport to see Gregory Alldritt and his team return with the trophy, with the night sky lit up by red flares.
