All Blacks attitude on return home from Rugby World Cup, is reason why they’re still best team in the World

This really is a testament to the positive attitude of the All Blacks.

After what was a disappointing campaign (By All Blacks standards) the men in black returned home frim the Rugby World Cup on a more low-key note than their counterparts in South Africa.

What really amazed us was the mindset of the All Black team as they returned and the attitude that they showed to their supporters.

Many will have seen the video of the English team returning at Heathrow yesterday, where many criticised the team for not really acknowledging the fans that turned up to greet them…

New Zealand have finished in the top three in seven of their nine World Cup participations. Steve Hansen was involved in his final test match as All Blacks head coach. In 107 matches under Hansen, his record was W93-D4-L10. They established a winning track record against all of their opponents in that span, except the British and Irish Lions (W1-D1-L1).

Steve Hansen spoke to the media as they returned home saying how proud he was of the effort that his team had put in over the tournament despite losing to England in the semi finals.

The All Blacks coach appeared to be sad at the thought of leaving the helm saying…

“There will be a feeling of emptiness. For 200 days a year, you’re surrounded by a team of young men who have helped keep me young in my thought processes and how I see life. I’m a long way from being a Generation Y or Z but you certainly have to pick up on how they live. You’re going to miss the camaraderie of the management. I’m not sure my wife’s looking forward to seeing me every day at home. It’s going to be different but I think it’s important that I find other things to do and share a lot of experiences with my family and I’m looking forward to that.”

Look at the attitude of the All Black team as they returned home from their All Black campaign and compare it with the English one…

This is why this team will still be #1 in the World for years to come…
