No9 shows maximum disrespect to Euro trophy weeks after doing same to Six Nations
Lyon scrum-half Baptiste Couilloud went viral after France’s Grand Slam triumph in March when he decided to jump into the Seine in the middle of the night with the Six Nations trophy in hand.
Doing that in the middle of the Parisian spring was nothing short of insanity, but it made for good viewing. This was him in March:
Well the 24-year-old was at it again over the weekend after his side’s 30-12 victory over Toulon in the Challenge Cup final in Marseille.
Couilloud actually opened the scoring for his side at the Stade Velodrome, and Lyon did not look back from there. This was the try:

But the next day it looks like the No9 was taking another splash, this time with the Challenge Cup trophy.
This time he was jumping in the Old Port of Marseille in daylight in what was about 25°C heat, so it looked a lot more pleasant than the early spring at night in Paris.

Lyon lock Joel Kpoku said after the match: “Who could have written it?”
“I’m thankful to Lyon for bringing me out and thankful to win the Challenge Cup.
“(It took) massive courage for myself to come out here alone and, to have the trust and care in me to play me in a big game like this, I’m thankful to come out on top.
“For the time being I’m going to be concentrating on my time with Lyon and playing as much rugby as I can. Whatever comes from there, we’ll see what happens.”
