Rugby world cannot work out how to stop this beast
Following Argentina’s success at the Vancouver Sevens, Luciano Gonzalez looked hell bent on making it back to back titles in Hong Kong at the weekend.
Though they fell short, finishing 5th after losing to eventual champions New Zealand in the quarter finals, Gonzalez took some names in the process.
The Argentine spent the weekend swatting away opponent after opponent, with his try against Samoa the pick of the bunch. This was a carry where he broke through four different tackles on his way to the try line. When watching a carry like that, it should come as no surprise that he has made the seventh most clean breaks in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series this year.

The try against Samoa was not just one incident though, as plenty of other teams seemed to struggle stop Gonzalez. His assists against Spain and New Zealand were equally impressive. Take a look:
