WATCH: ‘I don’t know what to do anymore’ – Fed up Sexton admits to staying down to get reviews
Jonathan Sexton today admitted in a candid interview with Irish broadcaster Newstalk (on a show ironically named Off The Ball), the levels of frustration he feels at what he perceives as intentionally late hits
Sexton feels as though the tactic is used to take the fly-half out of the action, stopping his favourite wraparound move or to simply slow the Irish backline down.
The 33-year-old admitted that sometimes he gets straight back up but “sometimes I stay down for a second so they might review it.”
