WATCH: Elliot Dee cited for vicious attack on referee Andrew Brace
The shocking and unprovoked attack happened in the 77th minute of the Guinness PRO14 Round 11 fixture at Rodney Parade when Elliot Dee made contact with referee Andrew Brace.
Elliot Dee has since ‘been reported by the Citing Commissioner in charge for alleged infringement of Law 10.4 (m) – Acts contrary to good sportsmanship. A player must not do anything that is against the spirit of good sportsmanship in the playing enclosure.’

It is quite possible that Dee could be facing a lifetime ban and even possible prison time should he be found guilty of assaulting Brace.
One eagle-eyed supporter pointed out that Brace had in fact been attacked one minute prior, by a Cardiff Blues player who wishes to remain anonymous.
This individual has so far escaped any sanction and is still free to walk the streets of Cardiff.
So Elliot Dee is facing disciplinary action for what looks like touching the back of the refs shoulder. Yet the exact same thing happened with a blues player only one minute before. The ref Shouldn’t have gotten in the way pic.twitter.com/GL9as5xuU2
