WATCH: Josua Tuisova makes a mockery of Top 14 leaders
While inside centre might not be Josua Tuisova’s primary position on the field, the benefit of moving him in field means he gets to carry more and tackle more. He may not have much space, but he does not need much.
The Lyon and Fiji back was on a mission on Sunday against Top 14 leaders Toulouse at the Stade Ernest Wallon, and started the match like a house on fire.
His two assists to give Lyon a 14-0 lead have been well documented this week, but they only tell half the story in a match where he was a handful for 80 minutes.
Unfortunately for France fly-half Romain Ntamack, he had the unpleasant task of playing opposite Tuisova for the majority of the match after some early injuries forced a shuffle in the back line. Of all games to be moved to inside centre for the Frenchman, it had to be the week he was playing against a 113kg wrecking ball.
