Rugby World in shock as Owen Farrell gets away with another satanic cheap shot

How does Owen Farrell keep getting away with these tackles and nobody else does? Rugby fans this weekend were in shock and anger as it seems there will be no repercussions for what he did in this match.

Saracens easily dispatched of Worcester Warriors today in a 62-5 win at Allianz Park.

However, it was a shoulder charge that Owen Farrell did that has angered the rugby public. Just before half time in this match, the England talisman can be seen tackling a Worcester player, using his trademark no shoulder hit.

After much deliberation by the officials, he wasn’t sent off.

People online are not happy at all…

The tackle happened just before the half time break when Worcester were 24-0 down in the match. If Farrell had been sent off at that point in the game could they have come back into it?

Owen Farrell has a history of controversial tackles in rugby. In 2018 his last-minute hit against South Africa won them the match, and since then he has earned himself the infamous title of shoulder boy.

However, the England 12 has also been on the receiving end of a lot of hits from other teams as he has become more targeted by the opposition.

In this clip here, you can clearly see that there was contact with the Worcester player’s head and it also seems like there was intent by Farrell too.

Come the 2020 Six Nations, will referees need to keep an eye on England’s T Rex for fears that he may strike again?

Here is the clip of Farrell and the hit, which has caused quite a stir online over the past hour. It does seem like Farrell is above the law in many of these cases, and referees almost seem scared to challenge him.

I am in shock, how did he get away with this?!
