Gavin Henson has just played a professional rugby league match at 39
Former Welsh rugby star Gavin henson has shocked many this weekend as he featured in a pro rugby league match for West Wales Raiders.
The 39-year-old dusted off his boots once again as he played for the from the West of Wales in a rugby league match.
Footage last year showed Henson playing football, something which surprised many fans, as it looked like he had taken a completely new route in his sporting life.
However, it now looks like he is back in rugby, if it isn’t in the code that we all initially expected.
The flair was once again seen from the Welshman as he was seen wearing pink boots for the side, in a game where they lost to Widnes by over 40 points. It was the side’s first game of the season.
☠️A quick clip from today as once again the boys got held up on the line.

Someone managed to clip up some footage of Gavin Henson playing Rugby League for the side, he didn’t get his hands on the ball much, but he did manage to perform his kicking duties well, as well as putting in a good tackle or two on the ball.
He is almost 40 now, so it is impressive to see him performing at this level at his age.
Here is the footage of the Welshman in action, you can still see he is the centre of attention in his pink boots!
