‘You cannot do that, you cannot do that!’ – ref stops play after unsporting moment in European rugby clash
There was a bizarre moment in today’s European Champions Cup clash between Sale Sharks and La Rochelle that caused referee Andrew Brace to stop play.
The game was about to go into half-time with the scores standing at 18-14 to the hosts in France.
We see as Sale Sharks maestro AJ MacGinty goes to line up a conversion just before the break.
As MacGinty goes to slot the two-pointer, a bizarre sound rings out around the stadium.
